Web Summit 2025: The 5 Startups That Will Change the Future

My experience at Web Summit 2025 in Lisbon. Among 70,000 attendees, here are the startups that impressed me the most and the opportunities for the Italian market.

I just returned from Lisbon where Web Summit 2025 was held, and I must admit that this year the atmosphere was electric. As CEO of BusinessLabs, I have been attending this conference since 2019 and every year I notice the evolution of the European tech landscape.

    The 5 Startups to Watch

This year I had the opportunity to meet hundreds of founders and I selected the 5 startups that, in my opinion, will have the greatest impact in the coming years:

    1. NeuralFlow AI

A French startup that is revolutionizing predictive analytics for eCommerce. Their algorithm promises to reduce inventory waste by 40%.

    2. GreenChain

Blockchain applied to sustainable supply chain. I spoke directly with the CEO and was impressed by their vision.

    3. PaymentOS

Payment infrastructure as-a-service. Interesting for those managing multi-vendor marketplaces.

    4. LogiBot

Robotics for small and medium-sized warehouses. Finally a solution accessible to SMEs.

    5. DataSense

Analytics for marketplaces. Native integration with Amazon, eBay and major sales channels.

    Opportunities for the Italian Market

The Web Summit confirms a trend I have been observing for years: Europe is becoming increasingly competitive in tech. For Italian companies, this means:

    • Access to international talent: Many startups are willing to collaborate with Italian partners
    • European funding: Digitalization funds are growing
    • Strategic networks: Events like Web Summit are essential for building relationships

    Conclusions

If you're thinking of attending Web Summit 2026, my advice is to prepare in advance. Identify the startups and companies you want to meet, and organize meetings before the conference.
