CES 2026: 148,000 Attendees and AI Stepping Out of the Screen

CES 2026 in Las Vegas was the largest since 2020: what it means for anyone selling products online.

From 6 to 9 January 2026 Las Vegas hosted the busiest CES of the post-pandemic era: over 148,000 attendees and around 6,900 accredited media professionals.

    What we saw

Artificial intelligence is no longer a feature inside an app: it moved into objects. Appliances that learn a family's habits, self-driving cars, paper-thin TVs, home robots and beauty tech with smart mirrors.

Why it matters to online sellers

Every time a product becomes connected, three things change: the product page content, after-sales service and the customer lifecycle. Selling consumer electronics in 2026 no longer means selling an object: it means selling continuous updates.

    Our take

For the brands we work with, the practical lesson from CES 2026 is simple: rewrite product descriptions around benefits rather than specifications, prepare support teams for software questions, and build a relationship that continues after checkout.

    Conclusions

CES remains the thermometer of global tech consumption. Reading it early lets you plan next season's assortment months ahead of competitors.
